Terms of Service and Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy and terms of service are in place to offer clarity and state the client and/or attendee's rights in the event of an unexpected cancellation or unforeseen change. The terms below are between Mariana Luna and the registered client and/or course participant. 

The boundaries of the cancellation policy and general terms are upheld without exceptions.

Agreements for Individual Sessions (Shamanic Reiki, Coaching, Mind/Body/Soul Healing Sessions, House Clearings & Blessings)

Payment for the Session

Payment is requested prior to or on the date of service. Bank Transfer or PayPal payments are accepted with receipts available upon request. Promissory payments are not accepted. Health insurance is not accepted. Invoices for insurance reimbursement are not available. Clients are responsible for sessions to be paid in full, regardless of the payer. 


Cancellations and Rescheduling

The Cancellation Policy is not a penalty or punishment. It is important that clients do not feel they are being punished when they are charged the Cancellation Policy full rate of the session or course. Cancellations and missed appointments can happen, that is life. In return, clients and/or attendees understand that scheduling an appointment or registering for a course is a commitment to a time and space reserved especially for them and the container for their healing journey. 

You have until 48 hours before your appointment to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Any last minute cancellations of between 48-24 hours: 50% compensation is owed. Sessions canceled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 24-hour notice are charged the full session rate.

The cancellation policy is strictly upheld, and payment is due prior to scheduling another session.


Running Late

The appointment is considered in session during the agreed upon time. Clients running late will not receive additional time. Clients who are running late are asked to send an email (hello@mariana-luna.com) or a message on WhatsApp regarding their delay, if possible. If running later than 30-minutes without notice, the appointment will be considered canceled without notice and no refunds will be given.

Refunds

Services are considered non-refundable and non-transferable.

If a client is not satisfied with the service received, they may discuss their concerns with the practitioner directly, and an appropriate solution will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Disclaimer

As an alternative and holistic health practitioner, Mariana Luna provides energy healing, Reiki, and shamanic healing and coaching services to clients. While taking great care in providing these services, Mariana Luna cannot guarantee any specific results or outcomes.

Mariana Luna is not a doctor, dietitian or psychotherapist. By undergoing treatment, you acknowledge that in no event will Mariana be liable directly or indirectly from damages resulting from information, data or sessions provided or for the loss of profits through the use or misuse of said information and data, either via its use, negligence or other actions. These modalities are to be used as supplement and not as a replacement to your current health care regimen. 

Liability

The Client also acknowledges and agrees that they participate in treatments at their own risk.

The Practitioner is not liable for any claims which may result directly or indirectly from participation, or in connection with, a treatment or coaching session. This includes, but is not limited to, any personal injury, property loss or damage, accidents or health related problems.

The Client takes full responsibility for communicating any levels of discomfort during a session, and indemnifies Practitioner against all adverse reaction sustained as a result of the session.

Mariana Luna does not accept any liability for any decisions you make based on any information given or messages received during, or responses to any session.

Agreements for Courses, Events and Workshops  

Refunds and Cancellations for Courses 

Full Refunds are given for cancellations up until one one week (7 days, including weekends) before the course start date. For example: If a course begins on Saturday, you have until midnight on the Friday one week before to cancel.

Transferring your payment to a different course date can be arranged between 7 and 3 days before the course start date. For example: if a course begins on Saturday, you have until midnight on the Tuesday before to request this change.

No refunds are given for cancellations within 72 hours before the course start date - your payments non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

General Terms

Under unforeseen circumstances, and in the unlikely event that a course, individual session or event needs to be cancelled by the host, any fee or deposit that has paid already will be fully refunded.

If flights/ accommodation are required, it is advised that the participant take out insurance when buying tickets, to cover any unlikely event, or any other event where they would need to cancel attendance.

We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the attendee or client.

Course participants and clients understand that they are responsible for their own personal safety and well-being during attendance.
