Cord Cutting Meditation Practice by Tamara Arnold

This powerful practice I recommend if you need to cut energetic cords or ties with someone or more than one person. It’s normal and healthy to create energetic bonds with another person, and it’s also normal to let those bonds regenerate after cutting them (if we so choose). This practice has helped me immensely to let go and forgive people with whom I had unhealthy energetic cords.

A deeply relaxing and amazing breathwork practice that helps immensely with anxiety, insomnia and stress. The 4-7-8 breathing exercise was developed by Dr. Andrew Weil. This breathwork practice can help you get grounded, centered and balanced. I found this practice very helpful and supportive when I was struggling with severe anxiety!

RAIN: Recognize, Allow, Investigate, Nurture by Tara Brach

Learning the practice of RAIN has been life changing for me personally. This approach to cultivating self-compassion and love is so simple yet so powerful. The acronym RAIN is an easy-to-remember tool for practicing mindfulness and compassion using the following four steps:

  • Recognize what is happening;

  • Allow the experience to be there, just as it is;

  • Investigate with interest and care;

  • Nurture with self-compassion.
